I'm taking part in Spring Fling!

I had such a good time last year, I'm doing it again!

Spring Fling is Scotland's premier Art and Craft Open Studios event and the standard of work is incredible. I'm so happy to have been selected as a participant for my second year.

Last May I had a blast welcoming visitors to my house and studio...it's exhausting, but really good fun.

This is an excerpt from my application form for 2026 -

'Last year was my first experience as a participating artist in Spring Fling and I loved it!  I am passionate about the work I do, and I realised during Spring Fling, that I also enjoy sharing this enthusiasm. I had so many fascinating conversations with visitors, and I definitely learnt as much as I passed on. Some people are less familiar with textile art, and it was a great opportunity to widen the audience, as well as share some skills and knowledge. Textile Art is at a very exciting point in its development and it’s wonderful to bring it to an even wider audience.'
